word mark zuckerberg would not have used when he first described facebook. here's what he said to investors. earlier this year. quote, facebook was not originally founded to be a company. we've always cared primarily about our social mission. well, the company's mission now is to make money off of you and its 955 million users. it has to make money. that's just the reality of it. now you're a public company. how does it plan to do that? here's a couple things they're planning to do supposedly. there's a rumored want button. there's a like button on facebook now if you like something. the want button lets you tell your friends what you'd like them to buy for you. maybe it's a wedding or baby registry thing. it's supposed to link you to spending money. there's also a new service called facebook exchange which tracks what you do on the remember and shows you ads when you go back on facebook based on where you have been. according to bloomberg, facebook is also working on a cell phone to try to make money from people on their cell phones which has been a real issue for the company.

that paterno did not know that sandusky was a child predator. joining us live from philadelphia, cnn contributor and patriots news reporter sara ganim. you've been covering this story from the very beginning. this is a panel that reviewed more than, what, 3.5 million documents, held 430 interviews before coming up with this report. how does this break down in terms of who was most responsible? >> well, judge louie freeh said it comes down to these four people, joe paterno, the president graham spanier and those two penn state officials who have already been charged with lying in the criminal investigation, tim curley and gary schultz. when he was asked about other employees, or more wide cover-up, he denied any other employees are responsible for actively concealing the allegations against jerry sandusky. he did lay some blame on the board of trustees for a lack of oversight. he said they were simply too lax and let a couple of people get away with too much power and not enough responsibility to report. but as far as other people that they lay blame for actively concealing jerry sand

romney has used the 1999 departure date to shield himself from claims that he was at the helm when that company allegedly drove companies into bankruptcy, laid off workers, outsourced jobs as well. we should note that one of the fact checkers that he mentioned put out a statement today saying a lot of these claims, citing with the romney camp. even if he wasn't at bain at the time of the outsource how much does all of this continue talk hurt his campaign? >> well, it certainly hurts the campaign and i will say one of those fact checkers is our checker here. you can see the romney campaign is lachg on to what these fact checkers have said and calling out the obama campaign for telling falsehoods. so far that doesn't seem to necessarily be working and certainly not enough in terms of what republicans want to see mitt romney put up, which is evidence of that he created jobs at bain and to really flush out what his record there was. but we can tell, i think, from this reaction that the romney campaign is take on some water around bain and you've seen this narrative particularly out of
